I don't know if its just me but it feels like years since I last blogged! I mean, I didn't blog Wednesday because I had double-period science. Whew! What happened?! Well, whatever, anyways today I get to write about Charlemagne! At first I thought it was some type of magnet or stone, but then I realized he was a person!
Charlemagne is Latin for "Charles the Great!"  Charlemagne accomplished much in his lifetime and helped the Christians spread Christianity. Charlemagne was a leader for the Franks. A group of people in Germany. He was appointed ruler/king by the pope and conquered all of Europe! Charlemagne helped spread Christianity by conquering all of Europe. It made it easier so then all of the missionaries wouldn't have to work so hard!
I don't know much about Charlemagne because I just learned about him earlier today and I still have lots more studying to do on him. From what I know about him, Charlemagne seemed like a powerful man. Sadly, I just need to learn so much more. I wonder what he looked like? If he was strong? Was he feared, of liked? How old did he live to be? How old was he when he was appointed king? Did Charlemagne conquer "The Europe" we know of today? I love finding answers to question sI have been wanting to know about! Got to study though!
